Dr Lim Fat is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in surgery of the Hip, Knee and Shoulder with a particular interest in managing sports related injuries such as Knee ACL tears, Shoulder Instability (Dislocations) and Rotator Cuff Injuries. As part of his practice he routinely treats elite athletes. He also performs a large volume of Hip, Knee and Shoulder replacement. He has a broad experience and expertise in treating Complex Fractures in Orthopaedic Trauma. Having trained and worked in Ireland and Europe for 20 years, he is now settled in Mauritius.

He was very friendly and approachable and confidently answered all my questions and any concerns I had.
After examining my Xray and performing a hip examination, he determined that a dual hip replacement was required. Due to my age (63 yrs) he convinced me to do one first and then the other. This was good advice. After having both hips replaced with a year in between, I am very happy with the results and Dr Lim Fat as a dedicated and professional surgeon.
